We have the stage for you to shine on

Thank you for your interest in performing at the Bay Salsa Festival on Saturday 26th October 2024 at the Otumoetai College Performing Arts Centre.

Spaces are limited for this event and registrations must have been received by Monday 30th September 2024 to secure your place in this show. If you are too late, please still follow the instructions below and we will see if it is possible to squeeze you in – please note that after the 6th of October there are no guarantees that there will be space in the showcase.

Please ensure that your Team Manager completes the registration form below. Upon registration, they will be issued with a unique promotional code for your team.

If you are performing you need to purchase a full pass. Use the promotional code supplied by your team manager to receive your performer discount.

Teams and couples are welcome to perform, this show is not limited to Salsa, so no matter what your style of dance, we have a stage for you. Please note performance times are limited to 3.5 minutes for a team and 2.5 minutes for a couple or solo performance.

Music is to be supplied on a clearly labeled CD prior to the event or emailed to us with the name of the song and the style of the dance.

Technical rehearsals will be held in the afternoon from 1 pm, it is compulsory you attend this to familiarise yourself with the venue and to enable the technical team to get a feel for your performance.

Team managers please complete this Team Registration Form and return it to us to secure your place in the showcase. (Spaces are available until 30th September 2024 or until all performance slots are filled – max 30 performances and limit of 2 performances per dance school).

Please note that due to a double booking of the Performing Arts Centre the showcase will be held in the Action Centre this year

Attendance at tech rehearsal is compulsory for all team members and failure to attend may result in our act being excluded from the showcase All performers must hold a full pass. Once this form has been submitted discount code will be issued that will enable the performers to get the pass at the discounted rate. This discount voucher is only available until 30 September. Music is to be emailed to tash@baysalsa.co.nz and an additional copy brought to the tech rehearsal clearly named with your Performance Name and Song Title We give permission for Bay Salsa to use any images or recordings (photo or video) of our performance for promotional purposes
